I'm summoning the coven for this one... A Seasonal Workshop of Nature Magic & Earth-Alchemy As the wheel of the year comes full cycle once more, it is time to harvest our last sacred moments with autumn and whisper in the darker nights. This workshop is an invite to gather with friends, cosy up with the wild, weave together our craft magic and set our rhythms to a softer pace. What the Day Holds A Gentle Arrival and Foraged Beginnings We begin with a quiet wander through the gardens and nearby grounds, collecting wind-fallen leaves and treasures of the season. Materials that will later become part of our creative practice. You’ll be guided in gathering with care and intention, opening to the land’s gentle offerings. Alter Cloths and Sacred Scrolls We will be exploring the magical art of shibori using the humble onion skin. Folding, binding, and dipping our cloths into the dye cauldron, coaxing out rich amber and olive tones through ancient techniques imbued with the essence of autumn. Next we step into the realm of paper using our foraged leaves. Soaked with rust and delving into tannin-rich wisdoms, they are then wrapped tightly before being brewed. As these scroll are unwrapped, they reveal hidden prints and earthly messages: delicate leaf skeletons and ethereal shapes gifted by nature’s hand. Autumnal Treats Midway through our experience, you will be served homemade soup in pumpkin bowls infused with autumnal spices. Followed by tea, cake and a moment to rest, reflect, and steep in magic of this 19th century house; a threshold between eras, where time lingers and stories echo through the stone. Wild Inks After supper, you will learn how to create your own wild berry ink, in shades of deep plum, rose, and blood-red, to take home with you for spellwork and conjurings.
