What to expect...

In this workshop we will be exploring the intricate beauty of printmaking with petal pigments. You will discover how to treat your paper with natural binders, experimenting with different techniques for extracting colours from plants, plus composing a set of floral prints using a steaming process. To complete your botanical experience we will also experiment with botanical inks, including understanding the basics of how to shift the pH levels of your palette using modifiers. Get ready to be awe-struck by this process... Part science... Part MAGIC! All flowers are sourced locally and all artwork is yours to take home. All materials will be provided including a complimentary herbal infusion as a refreshment. (Car parking at the Heritage Centre is also included in ticket price)
